This web site was created on June 28th 2006 with the sole purpose of providing you with basic information about the platypus.
I am by no means an expert on the platypus. I do not have a degree in anything related to animals. I have never seen a real one, I haven’t even been to the zoo more than once or twice.
I was just curious as to exactly what a platypus was, because of joke I heard in a movie. So I researched them as much as I could, and put up this site so as not to let my research go to waste.
